Blechnum Gibbum is found on New Caledonia and New Zealand. The frond is wide in the middle and tapers towards the base and the top of the blade; Some blades (of the same plant) carry spores at the bottom, some don’t. A frond with spores on its bottom side is slimmer than a frond of the same plant that doesn’t carry spores.
