Aglaomorpha coronans, common name “basket fern”, has a thick, branching rhizome covered in long, light-brown scales that add to its aesthetic impact. Its glossy rich green foliage consists of broad, arching fronds that can be in excess of 70 centimetres long. A mature plant is highly decorative but requires plenty of space.
