The Polystachya maculata is an African orchid which is originally found in Burundi. It grows in the forests of Burundi at a height of 1500 meter. The yellow flowers are covered with red speckles and are around 2,5 cm in size. The flowers bloom for about 4 weeks and are able to bloom multiple times a year (when cared for correctly).
