Masdevallia polysticta is found on the mountains of Ecuador and Colombia at altitudes between 1.600 and 3.000 meters. The flowers of the orchid are elongated and can reach lengths of 20 centimetre. In between the leaves flower stalks grow reaching up to 30 centimetre and able to carry 9 flowers each. Masdevallia polysticta isn’t extremely big and, with the correct humidity, can be placed on your windowsill.
