Kefersteinia graminea grows close to the ground on other plants. It is found in the tropical rainforests of Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil and Ecuador. In contrast to many other orchids, it doesn’t have any bulbs. The leaves are slender and form a point at the tip. Each blossom Kefersteinia graminea will produce up to 3 lime green flowers with dark purple blotches.
