Cleisostoma arietinum is found in nature in India, Malaysia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. This variety is epiphytic, meaning it grows upon other plants. The orchid doesn’t get much bigger than 10 centimetre and produces relatively small flowers of 6 millimetre. The colour of Cleisostoma arietinum can vary from whitish pink to whitish purple. Parts of the flower are even so small that they are slightly transparent. The leaves of the stalk are hardly distinguishable and grow on both sides of the stalk.
