The Limnobium leavigatum is a floating plant which is originally found in South America. The round leaves of the plant very much remind of the Pilea peperomioides, but the leaves of the Limnobium are a little more heartshaped. The leaves will grow to be between 4 and 10 centimeters long. This floating plant will be an amazing addition to your aquarium as it naturally filters the water. The roots of this plant grow underwater and grow up to 10 cm long. Fun fact: the roots provide great shelter for small fish and shrimp!
