Ludisia discolor grows in Indonesia, among other places, at an altitude of 500 to 1000 m. The plant is used to tropical temperatures (22-28°C at night). The most striking thing about the orchid is the veined dark green leaf, which feels velvety soft. The veins can be pink or silvery white in color. This is in contrast to the slightly fragrant flowers, which are always white with a yellow accent in the middle.
