Ceropegia simoneae is a semi-succulent plant that will produce several main stems that will have leaves all along its stem. It is a rather compact growing plant, but over time it can still reach a considerable height. When it really starts to trail, you could provide it with some support to guide it during its growth or you can just keep it as a hanging plant in a basket. Ceropegia simoneae is native to the beautiful surroundings of especially southern Madagascar, where it grows in extremely parched circumstances. The leaves of Ceropegia simoneae donβt grow big but they are rather thick and have a really tough structure. That is why Ceropegia simoneae is able to survive in really arid environments. With a bit of luck your plant will produce some stunning flowers during summertime when you provide it with the right conditions. The flowers are amazing, they are rather big relative to the size of the leaves and they are weirdly looking. Close to their base they form a small cup which will change into a narrower pitcher, the flowers will also produce new growths. The flowers will be white with red to purple spots all over them. Altogether, this plant is really unique and eccentric making it a true showpiece according to Araflora.
