The Alocasia Maharani XL is a botanical plant which is originally found in Asia, especially in India. The Maharani is a hybrid of the Alocasia reginula (black velvet) and the Alocasia rugosa (rhino skin). The plant is also called Elephant’s Ear because of its humongous leaves, which can grow up to 1,5 meters in length. In Asia, people even use the leaves as a shelter for the rain. The Maharani has beautiful dark leaves, with deep veins. It’ll make for a very special addition to your collection!
